Kelley and Parker’s wedding is just around the corner so what better time then to blog about their engagement session! We decided on a quintessential, Colorado mountain backdrop. I knew they wanted water and a great view so Officer’s Gulch was the perfect location. It was worth the early morning wake up call!
Kelley and Parker’s Proposal Story:
We went to Napa for our 11th Anniversary. Both of us had always wanted to go in a hot air balloon ride, so we both secretly booked early morning rides on our Anniversary. When we were in line waiting for our rental car, Kelleywas trying to prep Parker for getting up early on our anniversary and kept telling Parker it was a super early “breakfast.” Parker kept asking questions and eventually asked if breakfast was a weather dependent activity. Soon enough, we realized that we had both booked hot air balloon rides for the same morning, so we ended up canceling Kelley‘s ride because Parker booked a private one. The morning of our Anniversary, we woke up at 4 AM and went to the launch site. The owner was busy showing us the inside of the hot air balloon and then Kelley heard Parker say “hey Kelley” and immediately looked over and saw Parker down on one knee. Kelley immediately started crying and hugging/kissing Parker before she finally said “yes.” Truly one of the happiest days our our lives!!!
